Cookies and similar technologies (local storage, IndexedDB) store small pieces of data in your browser. We use the ones that are strictly necessary for the site to work without asking, and analytics and advertising technologies only with your consent.
1. Strictly necessary
These are needed for the features you use and cannot be switched off. They are not used to track you.

2. Analytics (with consent)
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, searches, sign-ups) and to improve it. Google Consent Mode is set to "denied" by default: until you accept, no analytics cookies are set.

3. Advertising (with consent)
Advertising is a separate choice. If you accept it, we measure which of our ads lead to sign-ups (Google Ads conversion measurement) and Google may use the data for ad measurement and personalisation.
Only with advertising consent, we record the ad click identifier of a visit (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, msclkid) on our servers; with analytics consent, we record the campaign source (UTM parameters), the referring site and the landing page. Before you choose, nothing is stored. The records are linked to a random visitor id in your browser and, when you create an account, to your account, so that the sign-up can be attributed to the campaign. Withdrawing advertising consent deletes the stored click identifiers.

4. Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings in the site footer at any time to accept or decline analytics and advertising; declining is as easy as accepting. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.
The mobile apps do not use advertising identifiers.
